We all know that money is in the list, this is no different in MLM. I think you realize by now that unless you market your MLM business not much will happen. With the traditional old style sponsoring methods, you won’t get far, unless you are VERY good at chatting people up and selling ice to Eskimos. There are ways to build your MLM list effectively. Once these leads are in your back office you have legal rights to market to them as you see fit. But please remember that balance is the key here as well. You don’t want to hassle them with too many messages and product plugs. I have composed a list of 8 steps for MLM list building.1. Add an opt in box to every page on your website and make it attractive, visible and easy to use.
2. Link to your archive so potential prospects can preview what ther are getting in to, keep them on your site if you can.
3. Display your Privacy Policy in a prominent position on your site. It helps to build trust in you.
4. Trade your services with others that might compliment your products. Help each other to build your respective business by placing links on your site to the other persons services.
5. Write a newsletter and send it to your list in regular intervals. You can also register your newsletter with online directories geared toward this genre. It will help to bring further traffic via your back link.
6. Give your opt in subscribers something for free. People love freebies and they might feel more inclined to sign up with you. You could use free reports, ebooks or even software. This will also help to brand you as the expert in that particualr field.
7. Use branding to stand apart from everyone else. Just be sure to stick to your MLM’s rules and regulations.
8. Ask for referrals through your newsletters and customers. You might be surprised what might happen if you do.
Building your list should be one of your top priorities whilst marketing your MLM business. It will guarantee you with an ever increasing stream of hungry prospects and will help you to build your business on autopilot.
